Group Therapy

What is it?
Group therapy is a therapeutic session that occurs with one or more leaders/facilitators and more than two clients. Group sizes may vary based on the needs or dynamics of the group.
What’s it like?
Group therapy may be used for processing difficult experiences, emotions, or thought patterns. Group therapy can also ”allow clients to learn how to express their issues and accept criticism from others. Group therapy allows individuals to develop self-awareness by listening to others with similar issues” (
